Dr Muller Smit is a General Practitioner. He qualified from the University of the Free State in 2008 and completed his Internship at Pietermaritzburg Hospital Complex. In 2011 he did his community service at Botshabelo Hospital outside Bloemfontein. In 2012 he opened his own Dispensing Practice in Bloemfontein and Edenburg. During this time he did after hour’s casualty sessions at Mediclinic Bloemfontein.

He qualified as an advanced cardiovascular life support provider in 2011 and 2013 and obtained a dispensing license in 2011.

He did his Beginners and Intermediary course in Botulinum toxin and Dermal fillers training in 2011 with Dr Zak Schabort from The Cosmetic and Dental Emporium at V&A Waterfront.

In 2013 he located to Cape Town where his wife started her 5 year Registrar training in Clinical Pathology at the University of Stellenbosch.

In 2014 he took the reins from Dr Carli Hennig and started his private practice in Durbanville where she joined him again after taking a two year break as new mommy.

Dr Smit is also an Assistant to General Surgeon Dr Ignatius Botha since 2015.

Dr Smit recently became dad of a bundle of joy. He enjoys spending time in the operating theatre, and has special interests in Aesthetic Medicine and Mental Health. In his off time he enjoys spending time in nature, fishing and staying active.

Dr Eunike Britz completed her medical degree at the University of the Free State in 2014. For the past few years, she has gained experience in different places and has always dreamt about working as a General Practitioner. She has interests in a broad field of general practice including women’s health and paediatrics. She has also completed a diploma in child health in 2017 and did a variety of other short courses to broaden her knowledge.

Dr Eunike moved to Cape Town in 2017 with her husband and she is the mother of 2 young girls. She believes in following a balanced lifestyle and takes a holistic approach to her patients. She is caring and will always try to assist her patients to the best of her abilities. She will walk a path to better health with you.

Antoinette is a qualified South African Certified Lactation Consultant, Professional Nurse, Midwife, Community Health Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse. She graduated from the University of the Free State in 2015. She has working experience of 4 years. In 2016 she completed her Community Service at a Primary Health Care Clinic in Bloemfontein, after completion of her Community year in 2017 she started working in ICU at Mediclinic Bloemfontein for 2 years. In 2019 she got married and moved to Durbanville where she worked in charge at New Life Frail Care.

One of her specialities, which is also one of her greatest passions, is to help and support moms on their breastfeeding journey. She also does baby Immunizations, Private Antenatal (one on one), Breastfeeding Consults, Home Visits for Breastfeeding Support and Supporting Non-Breastfeeding mothers.

In her free time she spends time with her husband and friends. She love community and being outdoors. Her guilty pleasure is chocolate.

Our receptionist is Micky Nieuwoudt. She has years of experience as a medical receptionist and have a passion for cycling, running and just an overall love for life.

Kayla van Heerden is a Somatologist who graduated with Distinction from Isa Carstens Academy in 2022. She won the prize for best practical, best theory and best overall candidate. Kayla recently joined the Clear Aesthetics team and works synergistically with Dr Muller Smit and Dr Eunike Britz whilst doing her 4th year in Dermal Aesthetics.

Kayla is passionate about healthy living, staying active, helping others, and has a holistic approach to all her treatments.
